The study aimed to investigating the factors influencing crime in Edduiem City: An analytical study. The study problem was formulated in the following main question: What are the most important factors influencing the increase in crime rates in Edduiem city? The study hypothesized that the most important factors influencing crime in Edduiem city are economic, social, and biological factors. The study employed both descriptive-analytical and historical methodologies. It concluded that the most significant factors influencing crime in Edduiem are economic, social, and biological factors, and that place of residence and housing are considered motivating factors for perpetrators to continue and repeat their criminal acts, family breakdown and domestic violence are also significant factors contributing to the rise in crime rates in Edduiem. The study recommended the need to activate community awareness campaigns, promote tolerant social values, and implement early intervention to reform and rehabilitate offenders in order to reduce the spread of crime in Edduiem.
