π Abstract
This paper describes a low-cost setup for a Visible Light Communication (VLC) system that uses Li-Fi technology for short-range data transmission. The transmitter includes an Arduino Uno and a high-intensity LED that encodes and sends digital data through onβOff Keying (OOK) modulation. On the receiving end, a solar panel serves as a photodetector. It converts the incoming modulated light into electrical signals. An Arduino Nano then decodes these signals and displays the information on an LCD module. Experimental results indicate that the system reliably transmits data in indoor settings with little interference from surrounding light. This setup shows that visible light can be a safe and energy-efficient option for communication, especially in places where avoiding electromagnetic interference is important.
