π Abstract
This study investigated the relationship between perceived stress, psychological resilience, and behavioural responses among
participants using a questionnaire-based cross-sectional design. Responses were collected from approximately 345
participants and assessed using the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and Brief Resilience Scale (BRS). Statistical analyses
included descriptive statistics, correlation, chi-square, ANOVA, and effect-size measures. The findings demonstrated a strong
negative association between perceived stress and resilience, indicating that higher stress was associated with lower
resilience. Cortisol may represent a potential physiological mediator linking psychological stress with behavioural responses. Overall, the study highlights the importance of resilience in coping with stress.
